Compliance Hub is proud of its reputation for providing “creative compliance solutions”.

Since our incorporation in 2010, we have established a wide range of services to support companies in their compliance and code-related needs.

Whether you are writing policies, outsourcing signatory work or training staff - we know we can help. We have experience in managing code complaints; developing custom in-house training material and assessments; supporting SOP development; and, of course, answering queries about the code.

We maintain a bank of medical and compliance contractors and can offer short-term on-site support and long term placements. We are also experienced at reviewing campaign material and activities and can provide both medical and non-medical signatories, who are familiar with hard-copy and electronic approval systems.

Pharmaceutical Support

Compliance Hub has justly earned its reputation for providing pragmatic advice and developing creative solutions to resolve compliance-related challenges.

Whether you are looking for a remote advisory service or need support shaping a key project, please get in touch and we will do all we can to help.

Compliance Hub's consultants are all experienced in working with the code and compliance processes. Together we bring experience from across the industry; and we broaden our knowledge on a daily basis as we work with a very wide range of agencies and companies.

Support is available on an ad-hoc basis, or we can agree dedicated time as a retained service.

Advice & Bespoke Support
Books

Compliance Hub publishes a number of books written by our Managing Director, Steve Gray.

The most popular book with Signatories is “The Code Explained”.

As the title suggests, this book explains the meaning of the ABPI Code and helps Signatories apply the Code in their every day activities. The book is now in its fifth edition and is packed with case examples to assist in understanding even the trickiest topics.

The Code Awareness Service is an easy way to stay up to date with the outcome of Code cases.

Each month, Compliance Hub will send you a precis of every case in a simple, succinct format:

  • One-page summaries – the main elements and ley learning points from each case

  • PowerPoint slides – key learning points from all that month's cases clustered by topic (e.g. meetings, digital media, representatives, claims)

Subscriptions are a fixed price per agency, so what we send you can be shared with your in-house colleagues.

Code Awareness Service

Compliance Hub offers a complete programme of support for aspiring and experienced compliance specialists.

You can elect to enter the programme at the right level for you, depending on your level of experience within the industry.

We recommend that individuals new to the industry join our Foundation course to quickly establish a strong understanding of the environment in which compliance officers operate; and then progress to our three-day Compliance Skills Course to develop the core skills needed in establishing and maintaining positive governance frameworks and environments.

Experienced compliance officers should also consider joining some of our Signatory workshops and courses to build skills in reviewing materials and in material/activity based risk identification.

We also offer an Annual Refresher workshop where we discuss key trends and developments in pharmaceutical marketing compliance.

Compliance Specialist Development Programme

We know that diary commitments do not always permit attendance at prescheduled workshops. With that in mind Compliance Hub is pleased to offer a number of e-learning courses.

Our most popular three online courses are those that support the development of Signatory skills; Complaint Management skills; and enhanced knowledge about the EFPIA Code.

Please contact us directly to discuss our online courses.

E-Learning
On-Site Training & Bespoke Workshops for Agencies

Compliance Hub is the “go to” company for ABPI Code and compliance training.

Our workshops are engaging, interactive and effective. They are always tailored to the client’s individual needs.

We can bring any of our public workshops in-house, or we can build an agenda especially for you.

We have trained every type of agency and we always tailor the content for each agency's focus. Whether its running advisory boards, issuing press releases, developing advertising campaigns or communicating pipeline data, we can help.

For remote workers, Compliance Hub is very familiar with video and audio learning techniques.

Pharmacase Archive

Imagine a database of historical code cases. One that is searchable by topic, clause number or keyword.

Such a resource could be of immense value in researching the acceptability of claims or projects. It could also be highly valuable when managing complaints made under the ABPI Code of Practice.

Pharmacase Archive is a searchable database from Compliance Hub.

Please contact us to discuss a company-wide licence to support your material originators and review teams with high-quality reference material.

Public Workshops

Our public workshops are highly recommended and very popular. Delegates have the added opportunity of being able to study with colleagues from other companies, which adds greatly to the breadth of learning opportunity.

We have a solid core of regular workshops such as those for training Signatories or Reviewers, as well as a series of workshops on specialist topics such as digital media and communications with the public.

In 2017 we launched a series of new workshops including a 3-day course built to develop the skills of compliance specialists. Each year new courses are added, and courses are updated to reflect the current Code.

Reviewer
Development Programme

Compliance Hub offers a complete programme of support for aspiring and existing Reviewers.

Depending on your level of experience within the industry or within the marketing part of the business, you can enter the programme at the right level for you.

We recommend that individuals joining the industry straight from practicing medicine, or from areas of industry outside the marketing company, join our Foundation course to quickly establish a strong understanding of the environment in which Signatories operate; and then progress to our Reviewer Course to develop the core skills needed in assessing the strength of materials and claims..

Experienced reviewers may wish to remain up to date with key code cases and developments. That’s why we offer an Annual Refresher workshop where we discuss precedent-setting cases.

Depending on your level of experience within the industry or within the marketing part of the business, you can enter the programme at the right level for you.

We recommend that individuals joining the pharmaceutical industry straight from practicing medicine, or whose experience has not included the marketing side of the business, should enroll on our Foundation workshop to quickly establish a strong understanding of the environment in which Signatories operate.

The Reviewer Course enables delegates to develop the core skills needed in assessing the strength of materials and claims.

Experienced reviewers should join the Signatory Skills Course – this is a tried and tested way to expose individuals to the challenges of being the ultimate decision-maker, keeping the company safe whilst allowing creativity to flourish.

Having completed the training, prior to making the decision to register as a Signatory, individuals may wish to take advantage of our Mock Validation. Here one of our experienced specialists will assess your level of knowledge and the application of that knowledge as a decision-maker for the business.

Our Advanced Signatory Skills course will build your knowledge in areas of the Code which are not “everyday” activities, such as patient support programmes, Joint Working, and commercial deals

Of course, having worked hard to earn Signatory status, there is a need to remain aware of evolving benchmarks and key Code cases. That’s why we offer an Annual Skills Update where we discuss precedent-setting cases.

Signatory
Development Programme
Signatory Services

Compliance Hub maintains a bank of carefully chosen, highly experienced reviewers and Signatories.

Signatory support is available on an ad-hoc basis, or we can agree dedicated time as a retained service.

SOP Development

The ABPI Code identifies specific processes that companies are expected to have in place in order to facilitate compliance with the Code. These range from the approval of materials, through to the exact process for managing the disclosure of transfers of value.

Compliance Hub can assist in the generation of governance processes and SOPs, and by reviewing the effectiveness and robustness of existing frameworks.

We look forward to working with you.
