Signatory Development Programme
This workshop is ideal for individuals that have limited exposure to the marketing of prescription medicines.
The day is specifically designed to introduce delegates to the nature of marketing activities and the way in which companies manage compliance. The course will ensure delegates understand the nature of the role of field based staff such as sales representatives and MSLs and the shape of the material and techniques they utilise. During the day delegates will cover meetings, press releases, adverts and communications with the public.
Review Skills Workshop
Reviewing materials and activities for Code compliance requires a thorough knowledge of the relevant aspects of the Code to enable the Reviewer to ask the right questions. It also requires the ability to understand, deconstruct and validate promotional claims.
This workshop will expose delegates to a wide range of materials and activities including promotional materials, meetings and press releases. Delegates will learn what questions to ask and what substantiating evidence is required for each subject. There is a particular focus on Clause 7 to ensure a thorough understanding of how statements can slip into the trap of becoming misleading.
This course focuses on the risk-management and decision-making skills needed by Signatories. Over the two 2-day modules, delegates will work with topics that cover the breadth of the Code to ensure they develop the knowledge and skills needed as a Registered Signatory.
Expect discussion, case examples and mock materials. All delegates receive a complimentary copy of “The Code Explained”, written by our Managing Director, Steve Gray.
We recommend that those wishing to understand the detailed technical review of promotional claims, etc, attend our two day reviewer course prior to embarking on Signatory Skills.
Having completed the Signatory course, delegates may wish to then undertake our Signatory Assessment (non-mandatory) to obtain feedback on areas for ongoing development.
Our Mock Validation will test an individual's readiness to become a Signatory and help identify areas for ongoing development.
Delegates will sit a written validation, which includes assessment of scenarios and materials. Following the review of their submission, delegates will undergo a tailored viva with our Managing Director,
All delegates will receive instant feedback plus a written appraisal to share with their management team and mentor.
